Hotend and firmware issue

Hello everyone,

My nozzle no longer heats up , I tried several thing but nothing work. I change my all hotend. I think the problem is from my Rambo, but I can’t update it either. I have tried several times unplugged/reconnected all cable but the problem persists. What can I do to find a solution ?

Re: Hotend and firmware issue

Use an Ohm Meter to measure the heater and thermistor. It appears that one of them has failed and no longer working properly. If you recently changed ALL the hotend parts, then try plugging in the OLD heater and thermistor (no need to reassemble, just power things off: and plug in the old parts, power on and run the selftest).

You will need to put them in a heatblock together else you'll get a failure. The selftest expects to see the temperature reading rise when it turns on the heater.

Vintage, thanks for the catch - forgot that small detail.
