Hotbed wires melted on the board
Hello,
I got my MK3 KIT, assembled it, and started printing. After about 7-10 days of printing the printer gave me a "Bed Preheat Faillure" (~100 hours of printing) error and the bed preheats no more. After some checks I found out that the + wire of the hotbed (on the rambo board side) was charred and part of it was melted. I tried to clean it up and isolate the cable again but the hotbed still won't heat up.
Sent a message to Support but I still have no answer.
I paid particular attention when tightening the screws because I knew that If I didn't tighten them enough this could happen, so no error on that part.
Did anyone experience this with the new MK3?
Re: Hotbed wires melted on the board
Occurred to me as well although mine is mk2.
Judging from the picture, it looked like the screw in connector gotten loose after several printing due to vibrations, the crimped area not tinted (solder coated) for better conductivity (My opinion and also from reprap forums) and finally, I also think its due to the wires they used which is a semi-solid core type.
