Help with settings in Simplify3D
Why does this happen?
This is printed in PLA with a mk3 useing Simplify3D and with the Filament frenzy profile at 0,1mm layer height.
At 0,2 layerheight it works fine. I just dont know what setting to tweek to get it to work att 0,1.
Please help!
My the gcode be with you!
Re: Help with settings in Simplify3D
My guess is nozzle temperature is not keeping up with the print speed. Try slowing things down.

As Tim suggests, slowing down is always a good place to start troubleshooting print profiles. Use the knob on the front to dial speeds way back (50% or less) and see how those layers print. If the print succeeds, you know you just need to use more conservative print speeds. Alternately, use the default Prusa profile and compare.
Edit: I found a profile with the same name online, and it doesn't appear to use outrageous speeds, with a default of 50mm/s and 1st layer at 50% of that. Try one of the pre-generated gcode files and see if you're still having problems. You might have a partial clog or other extruder issue. Print something that you know worked previously to see if it's a hardware or settings issue.

Looks like nozzle is clogging to me. Can you hear "klick, klick ..."?

Re: Help with settings in Simplify3D
The fact 0.2mm works ... and 0.1mm doesn't -- somewhere in the back of my mind it's a heat issue. Plastic isn't being kept hot enough to flow at thin layers... hydrostatics and such; mimics a plugged nozzle, but isn't. Could be wrong though. A cold pull is an easy test.
