Heated bed error

I am having a new issue with the heated bed. I can't preheat the nozzle or start any prints because it gives a heat bed error. I can wiggle the wires coming from the heatbed and the light indicating the bed is on will turn on and it will heat up but you have to hold it in a very specific place or it will turn off again. I checked everything from the board to the solder joint and I can't see a loose connection anywhere. What would cause this and what can I do?

Re: Heated bed error

Hi Christopher,

It's probably the heatbed wire broken,

I did a temporary fix, replacing the wires with wires from an old 13 amp mains cable,
2 lengths of brown for the positive lead and two lengths of blue for the negative lead

then did a proper fix with RC model silicone insulated flexible wire 16AWG

regards Joan

That sounds like something I can handle. I'll give this a try and see if it fixes the issue, hopefully I have some 16 GA wire. Thanks!
