Heatbed-Einsy power cable burnt. What do I do?
I left my 3D printer unattended for 20 minutes and when I came back, it stopped with heatbed thermal runaway error. I stopped print and looked to see what was going on. I moved the y-axis a little to see if there was a breakage in thermistor but didn't notice anything. I thought maybe it was because it was cooling down so I tried to heat up the heatbed and noticed that it was not heating up at all.
Upon closer inspection, I noticed that heatbed-einsy power cable was burnt out. I assume that's why it is not heating up and was the reason for thermal runaway error.
The question is, is it safe to just replace the heatbed-einsy power cable with a new one or should I replace the entire electrical board at the same time? It seems mostly ok but the screws that held onto the power cables look singed and the plastic that separated the two screws have melted off. Also, what gage power cable do I replace it with and is there anyway to prevent it from happening in the future?
RE: Heatbed-Einsy power cable burnt. What do I do?
the reason most likely is the screw wasn't tight holding the cable that's what causes this you will need to replace terminal on the einsy most likely if the plastic has melted by either solder wire straight onto board or get new terminal strip.
Please help me out by downloading a model it's free and easy but really helps me out https://www.printables.com/@Hello_474427/models

Thank you very much everyone. I will contact Prusa Support and in the meanwhile see if I have means to replace terminal on the Einsy board
