Headbed "bumps" after printing PETG
Hi.
We have printed a quite little squared box with PETG for the first time and it has somehow destroyed the headbed.
The 4 corners of the box has left some bumps on the plate and the surface has been crackled. The rest of the box (has covered the full area between the 4 corners) has left no damages in the printed area - only on the corners.
We followed the settings in Prusa for PETG prints with temperatures etc. The fillament was PETG from dasfilament.
Any idea why it's been damaged?

They go away with time; but are a reminder to add a release agent when printing PETG on the smooth PEI sheets.

Thanks for quick reply. Quite new with Prusa printers - what do you mean with "release agent"?

PETG sticks too well to the PEI, so you need to use something to aide releasing the part. Most use Windex - spritz some on the bed, wipe it into an even layer, let it dry (don't wipe it dry, leave a thick layer to evaporate).
But you are on your way to using finger prints, too. They'll help the PETG to not stick, and will make printing PLA a challenge, too.
