G-Code Flavor_Default Setting
I have a question regarding the default G-Code Flavor setting in PrusaSlicer.
The printer in question is a MK3S+
If I go to the printers tab/G-Code flavor and hover over the drop down menu, it says the default setting is "RepRap/Sprinter". The default setting would appear to be "Marlin (legacy)" however, because the padlock icon is grey...
Which one is correct??
Also on a side note I don't seem to be able to copy and paste a screen shot to this post.......
RE: G-Code Flavor_Default Setting
The 'defaults' from the tooltips are entirely superfluous. Most/Many of them are left over from before it was even Prusa Slicer (Slic3r days). Some have been updated. Basically ignore them.
The Mk3 /3s is Marlin Legacy.
You cant do many things on this forum. To atatch a single pic you can use the attach file option below the Reply window, for multiple pics you need to use the Add Media button, then upload the pics to the servers storage and then finally you can add them to your post.
Be aware also that many files types are not allowed and so you must zip them up first. That includes, stl files, gcode and 3mf files etc. 3MF is most important as that's what we ask for if you have a slicing issue as a 3mf saved from PS included not only the models but also the settings being used and any modifiers , placement etc. If you dont zip them the forum will just silently drop them. No warnings.
The post edit window timer is also very short, being around 5 minutes. So its always best to check your post after adding a reply to double check its as you want.
RE: G-Code Flavor_Default Setting
Thank you for your response.
I hate when old settings/info gets left behind for the unsuspecting new guy to try and figure out.
