Flex filament is loading too fast
I've selected the FLEX filament on the LCD's menu, and then press "load filament". This loads the filament WAY too quickly for something like Ninjaflex. This jams the filament 9 out of 10 times, no matter what extruder gear tension. The filament was dried again yesterday. Printer is MK3S.
Is my concern legitimate?
I'm now trying to load the filament more slowly through manual commands with Octoprint.
Printing Ninjaflex is INCREDIBLY tedious and my patience is running out. Also, see this: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-mk3-hardware-firmware-and-software-help/uneven-ninjaflex-printing/
RE: Flex filament is loading too fast
You CAN change the loading speed under Filament Settings/Advanced but I'm wondering if you have adjusted the tension on the idler screw. I haven't had the need to adjust the loading speed for TPU but I unscrew the idler screw completely and then screw it in again until it just catches.

ah, yes, I found this option. it seems more like this is a MMU feature. not sure.
I don't really get how this would make a difference when loading the filament, if there's no gcode loaded yet?
