First layer doesn't stick on one side of plate
Hi folks,
I have an issue with first layer sticking but only on one side of the plate, the other one is alright. It doesn't seem to be an issue with nozzle distance but rather with the stickiness of the plate itself. I tried to clean it several times with IPA indeed. Do you happen to have any other idea? I'm mostly printing with PETG.
EDIT: I mean duplex side - rotating the plate by 180...
Thanks
Robert

Wash the plate with hot water and unscented dish soap scrubbing with a paper towel. Touching only the edges, dry it using paper towels. I like to put the plate on and heat it for a few minutes just to make sure it is dry.
Before using, spray it with Windex and wipe dry using a paper towel to reduce the adhesion slightly. If you search the forum, folks have damaged their build plates after cleaning as described and not using Windex. PETG will really stick and I have a slightly damaged plate to prove it.
IPA just does not work well for PETG.
Using 7 point leveling will also help if the build plate is a bit off.
