First-Layer Calibration

Hi, I just upgraded to the newest firmware. When I try and do first-layer calibration the display won't progress from "Is filament loaded? yes or no screen. The default is no. Moving the curser to yes and pressing the button defaults it back to no. Pressing no defaults it back to no. So I can't do a first layer calibration without going through the wizard again which I'd rather not do. Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it is an mk3 and filament sensor is disabled. Guess I will go ahead and do wizard again. It was printing great but I changed my nozzle back to 0.4 from 0.6, ran the wizard with a silicone sock over the nozzle (don't normally do that) and it was not looking too good. Took off the sock and now the upper layers look great again but the first layers are obviously off.

Ok, that is what I suspected but couldn't find any comments on it. Thanks. I'm going to try a first layer calibration object and live z.

Reverting back to v3.11 of the firmware "fixed" it. Hopefully we will get an updated firmware so we can enjoy the new features. BTW, my bed was still heating with filament loading or unloading so something is a bit wonky with v3.13 still.

RE: First-Layer Calibration

I can confirm that the 3.13.0 firmware has a glitch on the MK3 First Layer Cal.  The Printer asks "Is filament loaded?" and it will not progress, regardless of answering yes or no, just stays on that screen.   Printer requires reset to get out of this stuck condition.   Works with prior firmware, so very likely a firmware 3.13.0 glitch.

Same problem here with 3.13 !  Just revert top 3.11 and it works.

Sounds like a bug to report !

Hi 👋 just want to say a fix has been implemented for 3.13.1 here https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/pull/4307

Not officially released as of writing this.

Issue likely appeared in one of our many memory optimisations for 3.13.0 (to fit MMU and other features)

The fix isnt in 3.13.1. You need to use 3.13.2. https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/releases/tag/v3.13.2-RC1
