Firmware Issues
Firmware 3.11 Issues.
I am running on an MK3 (soon to be upgraded to an MK3S+) with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W running the latest PrusaLink Firmware.
I am seeing the following issues:
1. If I select load filament or unload filament while the extruder is hot I get two beep and the filament type screen is skipped.
2. When loading or unloading filament the bed heater is also on, why?
3. Rotating the selection wheel one click doesn't always move the cursor one position up or down. Sometimes it takes 2 clicks.
4. If the selection wheel is pressed while another operation is in process (load filament, unload filament, first layer calibration, etc.) the menu system gets confused. When doing any of these operations pressing the selection wheel should pop up a "Do you want to Abort" screen to prevent this from happening.
5. The firmware should be able to determine the different between a pressing of the X reset button and a power on reset. On an X reset the firmware should know where it is and not lose the position of the steppers. During a power on reset a simple home should be performed so the firmware knows where is it. I have had several "crash errors" and "Z height errors" when printing after power cycling the printer.
6. I have started a print and then "tuned" the default temperatures for the loaded filament type and then had those temperatures over ridden by the gcode being loaded. When the print defaults are manually "tuned" and then over ridden by the gcode, the user should be prompted to accept the gcode over ride or not.
7. From the PrusaLink screen it should be possible to configure the Raspberry Pi's configuration (IP Address, Name, etc.).
