Very nice! Quick return!
Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
Just in time for the weekend to get this update started..... Thank you for the quick turn around.
Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
Nice! Quick turnaround on the couple of bugs in 3.2.0. I'll be flashing this when I get home tonight.
Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
I guess I should be brave and move off of 3.1.1! lol
Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
Updated MK3 and MK2.5 - afterwards reset both to factory defaults.
Checks and calibrations ran fine, and test prints came out well too. Put them straight to work and all good so far (prints are about two hours into 8 hour prints).
Looks like a good one.
Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
I did the update and am getting two errors during the self test. I have seen postings on the FB group for the same ones. Filament sensor error and wiring error.
NOTE: these were not there for 3.2.0. The self test and system was running perfectly this morning.
UPDATE: I messed around with the system and removed and reset the wiring for the filament sensor, etc and now it passes the self check.
Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
Trying to update the Firmware, but the firmware updater isn't allowing me to connect, despite my computer recognizing the printer as a COM port....

Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
The outer zip file says it's "prusa3d_fw_3_2_1_MK3", but on the inside file it says "prusa3d_fw_MK3_3_2_0_576". Is this the correct file or are we waiting for the upload?
UPDATE:
It is different from the prusa3d_fw_MK3_3_2_0_555 that failed on me, but it's not 3.2.1

Looks like you are correct, if you download from the drivers page: https://www.prusa3d.com/drivers/
Download from the link in the OP, it's a direct link to the correct hex file: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/releases/tag/v3.2.1
Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
Can someone elaborate on what the issue with the wizard/live Z adjust was? I'm on 3.2.0 and I'm not aware of any problems with it

if you ran live z more than once you would end up scratching the print surface as the displayed live z would not be applied so if you tried to tune it and print way more correction that you intend would occur.

Looks like it's just a problem on the naming of the file inside the zip
I flashed the one from the download page (I saw the error in the name of the hex when in the middle of the flashing) and on the printer>support menu it says 3.2.1-576
Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
Hi guys,
the file is named 3_2_0, should be 3_2_1. Anyway this is the latest firmware, just a typo in the name. We are fixing it now. Thanks 😉

Hm...just printing my first thing with 3.2.1 and "crash detected" message (and re-homing) appeared during printing ...? Red PETG, there was definitely no crash... 😕

I have the same problem: I'm getting filament sensor and wiring failures during self-test. The filament sensor worked fine before flashing 3.2.1.
I turned the printer off and then on again and the self-check passed successfully.
Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
I tried out the 3.2.1 FW and tried printing the test tower and it kept having problems with OctiPi (RPI 3 via USB) loosing communication with the printer. I tried changing the communication speeds from auto, to slower and slower rates. Still happened. Flashed back to 3.1.3 and printing without problems again.
Would like to print with LA, but I'll wait until they figure out the issues with that and OctoPi.

- 3rd PRUSA i3 MK2S

Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
I print all day long with 3.2.<anyversion> with LA enabled. No issues with Octoprint on a B+. I think your issue would only be with that special test tower- normal prints are no issue.
Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
Got past all of my problems updating to 3.2.1. I had upgraded the printer yesterday to the new code and couldn't complete the calibration. Went back to the 3.1.3 code with no problem.
Upgraded a second time after downloading the code fresh again and still no calibration. Decided to give up so I went back to the 3.1.3 code and NO CALIBRATION. Reinstalled 3.1.3 code and still nothing.
Contacted CHAT and they helped me out. For you people having other problems try to do a "FACTORY RESET".
This is the first time I've used this function and now I'm able to use calibration under the new 3.2.1 code. Maybe it will fix your other problems? Good Luck!
Re: Firmware 3.2.1 for Original Prusa i3 MK3
The octoprint issue has a thread on github and it boils down to the custom gcode that modulates the stepper drivers takes longer to process than octoprint expects.
The "fix" involves either tweaking octoprint's settings to allow that command more time, modifying the gcode to alert octoprint of the delay, or simply running that test file from the SD card as other normal printing shouldn't cause a problem.
