filament sensor MK3

Hello, the filament sensor of my MK3 does not work anymore (it used to work for 3 years). I checked cables, it was not wired properly after I changed the einsy card, I corrected the wiring but it still does not work. Maybe the bad wiring destroyed the sensor ? I wanted to change it but I see it is not for sell anymore for the MK3. Is anyone can help me ?

Thanks for your help

Have you cleaned the sensor and it's path of filament strings, dust etc?

tx for the fast answer ! I did not clean. And when I wanted to do it and read the assemply book, I realise that there is no filament idler anymore. Maybe this is why ? I want to print one but I cannot find the stl model for the MK3.

tx

RE: filament sensor MK3

if the idler is missing, I expect that the bondtech idler, bearings and bearing shaft are also missing along with the three screws which locate the idler and the two springs which tension the idler.
