filament comes out hair thin and doesn't stick to bed
I have been having the problem of the filament PLA and PETG coming out hair thin. I have been watching the filament come out and the filament just hangs in the air as the X axis moves, and then the filament just drops onto the bed thus it doesn't stick. I have adjusted the Live adjust Z down to -1.570 then run first First Layer Cal.
I have the original Prusa i3 mk3 printer using a 0.4 nozzle running firmware 3.10.1-4697. Im afraid to turn down the Live Z anymore as the pinda now just skims over the filament.
Also the filament comes right off the HOT bed since the filament isn't squishing onto the bed. I've done a factory reset but nothing changes. I am absolutely new at this 3d printing, and most of the time I have no idea what people are talking about. If anyone can help, please, please, please talk to me in newby talk or I won't know where to look and what to adjust to how much. I've been trying to do a lot of reading, but it is a slow learn.
Thanks for any help you can give me. I'll also try to answer any question you may have.
Mike
Either you are the first user to lay hands on an XL or you are posting in the wrong forum - you will get better help in the forum for your printer - but Z calibration can go as low as -2 before you need to adjust the PINDA.
Cheerio,

I Have moved the thread, as the op clearly has a mk3 series printer
