Failing power supply?
This morning I was printing a model on my MK3 (built in July) and the printing stopped so I looked over (I knew the print wasn't complete) and I saw the LCD flashing on and off, like 3 or 4 times and then it turned off.
I turned the power switch off, unplugged the unit, and plugged it back in, and flipped the switch.
The machine booted normally.
The model was sliced with Slic3r "1.41.1-rc+". The printer is running firmware "3.4.1-1356".
The printer is attached to a UPS to ensure constant power. The UPS did not make any chirps, so I don't think there is any reason to mis-trust the power going to the printer.
Is this a sign of a failing power supply? What should I be doing next?
Re: Failing power supply?
Mine has failed.
My MK3 purchased in OCT has just stopped working with no notice, nothing turns on, simply DEAD. There was not power surge, no pre-warnings as yours... I suspect of a Power Supply issue... we need an official feedback from PRUSA.
Wish us best luck!
