Einsy Rambo V1.1B Controller Issue

I have an MK3S which was worked flawless for some 2 years, but has suddenly developed a fault which I am assuming is on the Einsy controller board. On powering on the machine, the display flickers for some 5-10 seconds before turning fully on. The printer then behaves as normal and will commence to print the first layer after completing levelling, at which point it will suddenly halt and display "TMC temp error." I have checked the stepper driver chip temps and they are not excessive. I have swapped out the PSU with a spare I have kept for such occasions, but that has not cured the problem. I have checked all wiring connections for loose terminations and continuity. The strange turn on delay is an obvious indication that some component on the controller is not 100%. I am competent enough to start and trouble shoot the board, but thought I would give out a shout to see if anyone has had a similar issue and maybe solved it, other than changing the complete controller
