E3D Replacement Heater Cartridge
So I did exactly what I wasn’t supposed to do and accidentally hit the heater cartridge wire with the adjustable wrench when I was trying to change the nozzle. I’ve ordered the new part but I’m not sure if I need to take apart the hot end in order to replace it. I did put it together but this part was already assembled with the kit.

You should be able to get at the setscrew that holds the heater in without disassembly; you will, however, have to disassemble the wiring to the extruder to re-run the new cables.
