Dimension Problem
Hello,
I have the following problem with my Prusa MK3S. I am printing a calibration cube with dimensions of 15x15x15, but I am getting a result of only 14.9 on one axis.
How can I correct this value on the printer? Does it work by adjusting the steps of the axis? Thanks in advance for your help.
So: presuming you are using the default nozzle, your maximum error is less than half an extrusion width; that's good.
Cheerio,
RE: Dimension Problem
I agree with Diem. If you want to be more accurate, the latest slicer has shrinkage compensation. You have to enable Normal mode and it is under Advanced settings. You print your cube, calculate the error and test again. You can get it quite accurate. Make sure you have done the extrusion calibration first. Some measurement from PETG prints I did yesterday, 0.2 mm speed prints, 75mm size measures 75.03mm. 15mm measures 14.96mm 6mm Z measures 5.94mm. You can get a better adjustment factor with a larger print. This is a wonderful change to the software. I use a 30mm X 30mm and then a custom designed large axis tests for find tuning.
