Changing Min temp trigger point
I live in northern scotland
I like fresh air
I leave the windows open
I live in a 200 year old farmhouse
Myself and the min temp alarm are long term sparing partners
is there any way of dropping the trigger point so i don't have to break out the hairdryer before printing something
RE: Changing Min temp trigger point
The source is available to allow a modified version of firmware to be compiled. The two temperatures, bed and nozzle, are constants. Have you considered a mildly heated enclosure?
RE: Changing Min temp trigger point
@towlerg
It sits in a passively heated enclosure so once it is up and running it sits about 30ºC
As to compling the firmware myself
I am a bit of a technophobe when it comes to software as i am a mac user
RE: Changing Min temp trigger point
The 3.9 rc has a lower mintemp set point I think.
RE: Changing Min temp trigger point
@neophyl
Yes I think they were both reduced to 15C

@paul-a19
my commiserations re the Mac thing, it must be a pita in a windows world.
as to heating how about a small wattage incandesant bulb.
