Can't read provided SD card
I'm following the new-user course in "Prusa Academy" and trying to make my first print from the SD card that came with my new, pre-assembled i3 Mk3s+. Unfortunately, it looks like the SD card that came with my printer is dead on arrival. Inserting it into either the printer or my iMac yields nothing. (The printer notices a card was inserted, then says there's no card; the iMac doesn't even think a card was inserted.)
I gave up on that card, and instead I found some of the test models on prusaprinters.org. I copied a few of them to a 128 Gb Sandisk card that I had laying around for a Raspberry Pi I haven't assembled yet. The printer was happy with that card, and right now I'm printing "Buddy" the pug. So far it seems to be working okay.
So, the immediate problem is solved. However, I'd still like to have a complete copy of the SD card that should have come with the printer, in case I ever need them. Is there a listing anywhere of all of the files that should have been on it and where I can download them from? Even better, does Prusa have an image of it somewhere that I can download all at once?
Thanks!
sample prints
When you install PrusaSlicer, you will be asked if you want to copy the sample files too and there is also this page.
But I don't see why you should care about presliced files.
Log into prusa e-shop (you must log in) to get support
I am sure they'll send you a new SD card.
Thanks!
Thanks, guys! I grabbed the samples from my PrusaSlicer install. I doubt I'll ever need the pre-sliced files, unless for some reason I want to print one of them in the next day or so before I have time to learn PrusaSlicer. But I figured I should grab a copy just in case. I don't think I'll bother asking Prusa for a new SD card. I have enough of them lying around.
