Can I use the hot end of the MK2 for my MK3?

Hi,
My hotend is somehow damaged and I got offered from a friend that he can borrow me his hotend from the MK2. I am a complete noob concerning electronics, but the plugs look slightly different from the MK3 version but would fit.... Can I use it? And also how about guarantee on my printer? It is only 4 months old and the only thing I am doing is trouble-shooting all day, to make it run again 🙁 is there a chance to get a replacement?

Mk2 hotend is 12v, Mk3 is 24v so no, not without changing the heater.

chat with support and let them know the issues. What happened with the hotend?

The extruder started clicking and not extruding properly. After checking all the small things (screws too lose or too tight, temperature settings bad, wet filament etc.) I read, that the PTFE tube could be damaged, so I reassembled the extruder to check the PTFE tube. It looked fine, so I just tried to make sure it is properly aligned. When i tried to assemble the extruder again, it was not possible to screw the nozzle in again and the tip of the nozzle broke. Now the thread of the heatbreak and the nozzle are stuck in the heat block and I can't get them removed anymore.
The support says I need a new hotend and I can not get a refund since I broke it on my own 🙄 but yeah, it was while I was trying to repair it -.- anyways, I need the printer urgently, so I have to buy a new heatblock and heatbreak
