"Calibration Failed! Check the axes and run again."
Suddenly the printer can't do Z calibration. I just printed a few small things, and now suddenly it can't calibrate.
What is wrong?
I have tried the XYZ calibration and the Z calibration and both fail the same way. After XY-homing thing and the Z-axis moves up a little bit. Then it shows the messages that tells you to remove the steel sheet, and after I click ok it tries to start the z calibration, but immediately stops with the error message.
Actually, if I raise the X axis as high as I can with the LCD controls I can see that it's clearly not parallell to the top of the printer. Could this make the calibration fail?
Is there a way to make the printer redo the X-axis calibration that tests the top endstops?
Shouldn't the printer do the X-axis leveling against the top endstops?
The only thing I have done differently than before is that I tried the Pretty PLA and Speedy PLA profiles from github. Could they permanently change printer settings?
RE: "Calibration Failed! Check the axes and run again."
I made it start the calibration by first manually leveing the X axis against the top frame. It's calibrating now, so hopefully this will fix the problem.
It's a bit strange that the automatic calibration could not handle an unleveled x axis. Especially considering one of the calibration steps is meant to level the X.
