The STEP files for the V.01 versions should be uploaded. I'm not going to have time tonight to revert to the stock Prusa design, but I'll try to get to that sometime soon.

Re: CAD models for MK3 parts

I'd redraw the Einsy-base during the Chinese New Year holidays. It could be download from A360 in different format:

An assembly based on Jonathan's step files (and E3D_V6 & motor downloaded somewhere) is available here:

Based on the assembly drawing, the Einsy-base mounting holes is a bit off on the frame. Could anyone building the kit confirm?

Re: CAD models for MK3 parts

I can confirm that the Einsy base model spacing (94mm) is the correct measurement. For my original Einsy base remodel I must've went of the frame's hole spacing and was quite upset when my test print of the Einsy didn't fit.

I actually didn't know where that mistake came from until you just pointed the spacing issue out. Thought I just mistyped when I put in the dimension 🙄

Re: CAD models for MK3 parts

I actually made a mistake initially, and drawn it as 93 mm, but change it after check. The spacing of holes on the frame is also 94 mm according to the step file. But in the assembly, if I match the base to the door, the base mounting has 1mm offset both in X & Z direction. The base has a slot in X direction, so it allow mounting in offset X direction, but still 1mm higher than the door. Also, the width of the vase is 0.5 mm shorter, but may not be obvious when building.

I redraw the Einsy-base by measuring the stl file. Only modification I made is the chamfer that allow printing without support, but the stl file has some printing on free air, may be due to adjustment of the hex cable guard and forgot update the chamfer afterward.

Hi, I am trying to find the STEP or SCAD files for the MK3s upgrade. Anyone knows if that´s available?
