Bridging the gap

Hi there.

Not sure how to approach this one, but perhaps someone can explain why at least

I have added an image of how my item is being printed you will see there is a gap in the middle that will be bridged. The slicer is proposing to run the bridge from the top left to bottom left of that gap in other words along the really long gap rather that bottom left to top left briding across the short run.

It does this every time I have a bridge, it will also choose the longer gap to traverse resulting in the underside having strings. Why does the slicer not default for the shorter gap?

Can you post an image of your settings page?

You can change the bridging angle. Why PS always goes for the longest path escapes me.

Formerly known on this forum as @fuchsr -- until all hell broke loose with the forum software...

Well its good to know its there. why it challenges itself to the hardest task is very odd.

Also whilst I am here. I can login to this forom on PC using chrome no issue.

On Safari on mac it jumps to 'captcha' but a spoken voice one, Its really really hard to under stand the voice to then enter into the captcha adn I gave up. On PC I was not presented with this hurdle which is good because its a forum, not a bank.

I really wish Prusa would change the forum software or just make it good and not crap. I would feel inclined to come here more often then.

Thanks.
