Bed leveling

I know there are a lot of topics on this, but I'm still having trouble. I've run z axis calibration and first layer calibration many times, but the bed seems very crooked. The right side is too high (nozzle too low, path of plastic too wide), the middle (center and front) are fine, but the left side is very low (nozzle too high, plastic line not as squished as desired).

I ran the G80/G81 visualizer and ended up with this:

The graph appears to say the origin (front left) is high, but the entire left side historically has been far too low. Suggestions?

Thanks all.

Re: Bed leveling

I had quite the same problem. Little things printed good, but larger parts did not get an even first layer.

I also had a difference between highest and lowest point on the bed of 0.4mm. That is double the size of the first layer. And I doubt that the automatic calibration is able to compensate for more than 0.1mm Difference.

So I decided to level the bed manually. First i tried conventional spring washer, but i gave up. It was too fiddly. Then I read about wave washers. This version worked like a charm.
See https://github.com/PrusaOwners/prusaowners/wiki/Bed_Leveling_with_Wave_Springs

I adjusted down to 0.04mm difference, which is 1/10 of the original error. That is near the maximum resolution of the Pinda Probe. So more adjustement is unneccessary.

The wavesprings are not easy to get in germany, even in China they are rather expensive in low quantities. I had to buy over 100 pieces to get an acceptable price. Now I still have 5 sets left (9 springs each), which I will sell for 35Euros each within germany. That is the price I paid. A black straw is included! Contact me if you are interested.

I installed the springs downwards, as i do not know how hard the heatplate surface is. One turn of the screw equals 0.5mm. Dont use a plier, as the risk of bending the little spring is too high. Start with the center screw, screw in loosely, then insert the other sets from the side.

Hallo Peter,

I would like to write to you in German, but since this an English forum, I will not;-)

May I ask if you could take and show another photo of that wave washer? Where I can better understand how it is constructed?

I would love to have a set - but 34€ somehow ruins my bank - at least feeling wise;-)

Maybe you could also share a link to AliExpress or something like that

Thank you and Grüße aus Köln,
