ASA Filament stuck when unloading
Dear all,
I have an issue when unloading ASA filament (Extrudr). It gets stuck but I manage to pull it out with a lot of force. There is always a tiny half-shell there (see image below) which is about 5 mm long and has a diameter of about 2.3 mm. I do not know where this little piece is in the extruder but before I disassemble the extruder I wanted to ask if someone already knows this problem and maybe has a solution for it. Obviously I unload at the printing temperature for this filament (220 C nozzle, 90 C heatbed). I have also tried to extrude a little filament directly before unloading but it did not help and I don't see how it would get rid of this little piece.
I did not find any specific information on filament being stuck due to a little additional piece in the extruder.
Also, this happens so far exclusively with ASA but every time I want to unload. PETG and PLA work fine, I don't have any other filament materials.
Printing of the ASA works fine, I don't notice any under extrusion.
Kind Regards,
Glyoxim
