Alibre Atom problem with scale.

My part is minuscule when importing from Atom to Slic3r or PrusaControl.

Scaling it > 1000% is necessary to print a reasonable sized part.

Is this normal? This does not work well for real world accuracy. Am I doing something wrong?

RE: Alibre Atom problem with scale.

Is it possible you're still using inches to create your part and it's exported without conversion to the metric mm expected by the vast majority of slicer software in use today?

RE: Alibre Atom problem with scale.

I tried changing the part to cm, mm, yards, Design units, Atoms, angstroms, to no avail.

However with some deductive looking at the problem, emailing Prusa and Alibre several times,  I found out on my own that scaling %1000 fixes the problem pending print test results later today ...after I do my chores 🙁 sniff sniff

I had to learn CAD on the fly to create 1 project. Alibre design was the best bang for the buck for a small company for price and ease of learning.

Now that I'm self employed and make less (but I am much happier). Atom works great, easy to learn intuitive way to design and has no subscription. I hate subscriptions!
