3.4.0 firmware seems to be buggy
Last week I updated the firmware on my three Mk3's and I've had a number uncharacteristic failed prints. This last week saw all 3 of them fail in odd ways so it seems that the new firmware might be the culprit. There's been over 15 failed prints this week when I'm normally used to 1 or 2 a week on the Prusa's. The failed prints are typically just stopping mid print and never resuming or sensing crashes when there isn't one and then continually crashing into the print and ruining it. The last print forced afew coils of petg into the extruder section before chewing the crap out of it. I've only ever seen flexibles do this till today!
Also, I was excited to see the upgraded filament sensor engine 2.0 as 90% of our prints are in black petg and the filament sensor won't work with it at all. We'll, I'm suitably disappointed in 2.0 as now when it's on the main difference is that I get a polite message suggesting I turn off the filament sensor. Hooray! 🙄
And to make matters worse, now using PLA gives me the same message to disengage it! Never had a problem with engine 1.0 till now 😆
Anyway, I'm not sure if I should hold off (if this is something being resolved?) or just go back to the last good firmware?
Re: 3.4.0 firmware seems to be buggy
I have also had issues with (false) filament run outs where I was not able to resume printing afterwards (I am printing through Octoprint). I am pretty sure that I have only experienced this problem with the latest firmware...
Re: 3.4.0 firmware seems to be buggy
I never have filament run out issue before update to 3.4.0. Now, after update to 3.4.0, it ruin serveral prints, I have to disable the filament sensor as a temporary measure. I have disassemble the filament sensor and clean it, it still have false warning message.
Re: 3.4.0 firmware seems to be buggy
yes. I have similar issues.

Yep, I came to the forum to post something similar but it looks like it's already been done.
Hopefully they are working on a this and will release a bugfix update soon.
