My MK2S which is still boxed is being swapped for the MK3 and i believe people they have offered this go to the top of the queue.. so i am hopeful i will get it fairly early on. That said, i wont build it until Christmas so as long as i get it by then, i will be happy.

I bought one... I am having a problem with my MK2s which I have yet to figure out (another thread). I would like to have two printers going with the new one. But as my frustration increases, I am afraid I will abandon the MK2s and it will sit idle.

I put one in the basket within 10 seconds of the announcement.

Then I thought, you know what not any more.

I'm still very sore from the fiasco that was MMU. I'm not specifically talking about the delay here, I was OK with that. I'm talking about how poorly I was treated when I pointed out people that had ordered the MMU months after me were getting theirs when I hadn't had mine yet. I was kicked around by several different support staff and my over riding impression was that they really did not try hard enough to show they were sorry and to make amends, In fact I'd go as far to say the conflicting information I received was bordering on fibbing.
I have always been a very loyal consumer rewarding quality and service with repeat custom.
I still rate what Prusa has done and have enjoyed my Mk2. As much as I really, really want a Mk3 that ship has sailed.

There are many things I like about the company. But it has become very obvious they are not a "First in, First out" company. I don't know why, and I don't like it, but they just really don't seem to care about that. It does seem they like to batch things the whole way through and get those out the door together, but you really shouldn't do that if you can't maintain very close to First in, First out. They also are a big boy company now, they really need to stop charging credit cards when the order is placed, and wait until it is much closer to shipping. Using your customers as your bank for capitol to get up and running is something that you can get away with when you are a tiny startup, not when you are a real company.

I did and I was surprised when I saw the order was charged $ right away. My expectation was to be charged upon prep for shipping. Now you all have got me a bit worried. I do expect there to be an order queue that is followed in an ethical way. Here's hoping : )

I have one on pre-order and, personally, I was not surprised it was charged for right away. In fact I prefer it that way. Primarily for two reasons. The first being that it is already taken from my funds. I don't have to worry about a bill coming due in the future that I committed to and not having the money to meet my agreement and have to cancel due to being "Phynancially Impaired" at the time. Second is now they who owe me something. Yeah, petty I know but that's the way I am sometimes.

I had to think about it (my Mk2 is still waiting on time to upgrade it to Mk2S) but my wife convinced me to buy the Mk3 kit, so I pre-ordered mine a couple of days ago. Now I have to make space in my office for 2 printers. And upgrade the Mk2.

I'm in. I was also surprised it was an immediate charge, but knew it might happen that way. No biggie.

I purchased mine as well. I just got my MK2s and I love it show much I had to buy the MK3. 🙂 It is more than I should've spent in a short time, but I'm happy with my decision.

I have ordered one and it's my first 3D Printer, decided to go for this one and not a cheaper one since the support seems to be awesome, huge community around it and a lot of good reviews regarding earlier models of Prusa 3D Printers.

So looking forward to building it, using it and learning more about the 3D Printing world.
