Ordered mine 27th April , currently at status payment accepted , sorted wanted to believe the fantasy that it might beat the 4-5 week expected delivery but looks like it is going to miss it

You should make it clearer if you've ordered a kit or an assembled printer, maybe.
Ordered mine (kit) may 23rd, so I'm not expecting anything soon 🙂

I ordered the kit on April 28, no status change on my order yet. Probably need to get feedback from someone who just got theirs within the last few days to know what the predicted delivery date might be.
Probably another week or two for me I guess.

I thought the backlog was 3-4 weeks? ordered mine on 5/13. From what I'm seeing here is it more like 4-5 weeks, or longer?

This is a particularly bad point in time for shipping schedules.
With market disruptions and making Covid masks - I am surprised they are getting any shipped.
Situation should soon improve. I hope.

Mine was ordered April 16th and it arrived Tuesday he 26th of May. Lead time appears to be about 5 weeks or so.

You may did add some other stuf in your command that could be out of stock, like a beautiful PLA 😉
Ask for the status by tchat, and maybe you can change the part in shortage by another one for example.

Should come with a roll of silver PLA. That’s what the product page on the eshop says.

- Orange I think. Gotta remember, these guys have been dealing with stringent covid guidelines also. I ordered mine knowing full well it might be a while.

Deliveries are usually done in orders of arrival. Except if you have added something else with and this additional stuff is out of stock. You can contact Prusa by tchat when you are connected to your account in the shop.

Ordered mine (MK3s kit) on 03. May with a lead time of 3 weeks. Now it's more then 4 weeks later and nothing happend, still on backorder and the lead time for new orders are up to 5-6 weeks. I hope Prusa won't put these 5-6 weeks on old orders too.

I suspect this new lead-time applies to all outstanding orders , I thought that change early May seemed optimistic
