Some problems encountered, Z-leveling enforced...
After a few months of printing without issue (love my MK3S), my MK3S is now going through this repetitive phenom when I try to print. After moving the X and Y axis, it runs the X-axis the whole way to the top, bangs against the top, and puts out the subject message: "Some problems encountered, Z-leveling enforced..." and it keeps doing this over and over again...ad infinitum. I'm running 3.9.1-3518 and have been since September. I've seen multiple posts about this, but really haven't a clue if there's a recommended solution to this. As of now, my printer is worthless and I'm clueless as to how to resolve this.
RE: Some problems encountered, Z-leveling enforced...
I have the same problem. About 50% of the time, I have a strand of filament under the print surface or the sheet is crooked on the bed.

I see no filament under the print surface and the sheet is not crooked. Besides, after briefly moving the bed, it immediately runs the z-axis to the top of the machine, bumps the top and then complains. I appreciate your feedback, but still have no solution.
BTW, when I go through a calibration, the X and Y parts seem to complete without issue.

Just ran a SelfTest under Calibration and got a "Selftest error! Please check : Endstops Wiring error Z". Does this help provide direction? I didn't think there were any sensors for the Z-stops, just stalled stepper motors.

@ctmorrison
Wierd. Sounds like a wiring problem. I have not gotten that one.

Have you ever checked or replaced the PINDA sensor? Factory reset and firmware reflashing has often helped.
Statt zu klagen, dass wir nicht alles haben, was wir wollen, sollten wir lieber dankbar sein, dass wir nicht alles bekommen, was wir verdienen.
RE: Some problems encountered, Z-leveling enforced...
I have not checked the PINDA sensor, but it seems to go through the mesh leveling just fine, so that makes me wonder why it could be the PINDA sensor. I don't even know how to do a PINDA sensor check. That being said, I am at a loss. How do I test the PINDA sensor and do a factory reset? I have (today after this problem surfaced) flashed 3.9.1, again. I'm not sure of how to do a "factory reset".

Good points.

So....I'm printing again, but I'm not sure why. I went through the PINDA check without issue. I downloaded the 64 bit version of Pronterface (I'm running Mac Big Sur) and ran the G-80 routine without issue. All of the numbers were very close. I still could not print. I guess that's not a surprise. I didn't really change anything. I did a factory reset and got started from the beginning, but ran into issues with the X axis (length). As it turns out the print head was bumping into the Prusa supplied spool holder and I'm a bit concerned this may have been the issue all along, although I'm thinking I had already looked for this. However, even after I removed the holder, I still could not get through a calibration, due to the Z axis. I opened the Einsy (sp?) enclosure, pulled all the plugs and re-inserted them. I'm guessing this was the solution, as I was able to get through the calibration.
Although I have a slight suspicion about the spool holder (the clearance is verrrry small), I'm guessing it the root problem may have been related to the plugs and this causes me some concern about their integrity for the long haul.
That being said, I'm happy the printer is running again and I can get back to printing!
I hope this post benefits someone else, as I was very frustrated for a few days.
