I honestly didn’t expect it before July when I ordered. Looks like they are getting things sorted out.
Did you order yours with the PEI sticker spring steel sheet ? Or the PEI powder coated spring steel sheet?
PEI sticker.
I didn’t want to delay shipment and I figured I can pick up the powder coated sheet If they’re ever ready.

Ah cool. I ordered my MK3 kit with the PEI powder coated spring steel sheet back on the 3rd of March 2018. I contacted Prusa support recently and asked when the powder coated spring steel sheets will be available so that my MK3 kit can be shipped and all they could tell me was,"they did not know when the powder coated spring steel sheets would be ready and that my order is on backorder until such time as they are ready" 😮 Geez Louise, I am starting to think that I have made a mistake. I guess I have to just hurry up and wait........................indefinitely 🙄

Ordered Orange kit, smooth sheet, on 4/19 (week 16).
Received tracking number today, a week sooner than estimated when ordered (two weeks sooner than current shipping table).
Interestingly, ordered the "fixed rate UPS shipping for I3" and thought it would be UPS... Its actually coming DHL. Doesn't matter to me. same price.

Ordered my orange kit on the 27/4. Changed to a smooth bed 2-3 weeks later via chat
Shipped from Prusa on the 4/6 and i should have it on the 8th.

Ordered 30/04 and shipped today! 😀 Got the orange with standard PEI sheet with no extras.

Is the powder coated steel sheet actually shipping already? I have the feeling it isn't.

I don't think the powder-coated sheets are shipping yet. There are a handful in the spreadsheet that say they have, but I'm guessing those are people who originally ordered the PC sheet but later changed to smooth PEI and forgot to update the sheet.
Someone posted on the Prusa3D subreddit that they spoke with support a few days ago, and was told they expect to begin shipping the PC sheets at the end of June.

I bristle whenever support provides this information. Prusa has been saying "end of next month" since December. Every month, it's the same story- and no real evidence they have the problem solved. Thank goodness their PEI sheet works so well.

Week 18 order (placed 2018-05-04) shipped today! Glad to see they are finally clearing up the backorders. I was not expecting it for another two weeks.

I ordered in the same week but with the powder coated sheet. I guess I still need to wait for at least a few weeks.

They basically told me that It would delay few months in relation to shipping table if I want to stick with powder coated bed. I would probably even forget I ordered a 3D printer till then so I canceled powder coated sheet. I can get it later when it becomes available...
Their expected shipping date for those is 18th of June with couple months of back order. So good luck if you want it that bad.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I really wanted the textured PC plate but wasn't willing to wait. Once (if?) they become widely available, I'll order from the "Spare parts" section of the website for $25. The PEI sticker sheet is still a great build surface, just not as durable as the powder-coated version.

Honestly why wouldn't you just switch to the smooth sheet now and then buy the powdercoated one later? It's basically 25$ extra to have your printer probably 3-6 months earlier and you end up with two beds anyways.

Please take it with a grain of salt, this was a VERY rough estimate.
From my POV PEI sheet bed is a rather poor choice for a noob - very easy to damage with PETG (even with windex, gluestick etc...). This is the part of MK3 which I am the least pleased with (the second one would be probably occasional vibrations from rods/bearings).
I will not even try to replace it. Limonene procedure looks tedious as hell and pricey.
I am just trying to put prints in the orientation where my PEI is fine and I am eagerly waiting for powder coated beds (Thanks PRUSA for the voucher code for filling your survey).
