Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

Sorry for the double post.

I just realized the conditional formatting is wrong because Week 43 is going out at the same time as Week 42. I would update the conditional formatting but I cannot because they involve Rows 129&130 which have been locked by Sonic, so I cannot change any of the formatting rules.

As soon as they are unlocked I'll fix the formatting :(.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

Small question for the guru's of the sheet.

The column for the powder coated sheet, initially i filled in yes, as i'm guessing i will get one since my kit won't arrive before March, but was what i filled in correct? As i see a lot of rows filled in with a "no" and i don't remember having an option while ordering the printer.

So now i wonder, is the column to let people know what you received or what was ordered?

Thanks in advance for clearing this up for me.

So there's a note at the top if you mouse over "Powder Coated Board", but basically the format changes after you receive your printer, and should be "No" unless you specifically asked them to hold your printer until the Powder Coated Boards are ready.

No = Most orders, didn't special request a Powder Coated Board
Yes = Asked PR to hold shipment for Powder Coated Board

After you receive your printer, you add the /No or /Yes, so then you have

No/No = Didn't request hold, didn't receive Powder Coated
No/Yes = Didn't request hold, did receive Powder Coated

Yes/No = Requested hold, didn't receive anyway
Yes/Yes = Requested hold, did receive Powder Coated

I asked that my shipment be held up until it ships with the new MK52, but all I have is a verbal. Where would you have this documented?

I asked that my shipment be held up until it ships with the MK54, but all I have is a verbal. Where would you have this documented?

You can leave a note for them on your Order History page. Just click to see an order's "Details" and then you can add a message for that order. PR got back to me within 24 hours, but remember they are closed on the weekends, so they may only respond on business days. The only documentation I have past that is reply which came to my email.

How did you contact them?

Can you tell me more about this MK54? Can't seem to dig up much on it.

Thanks Hotrian for clearing that up for me.

And in that case you may change my entry to a No. Because i did not ask them to hold my order for a powder coated plate.
I would be happy ether way. (i had just assumed that it would be a yes, because of the moth it will be shipped in) 😉

Sorry I've changed my post from 54 to MK52. The MK52 is the new heatbed. I get confused with all of the different terms people are using for the same thing.

Are they not shipping with the MK52 Heatbed already? Both the Kit's Store Page ("The new MK52 Magnetic HeatBed [...]") as well as the MK2/S upgrade to MK3 Kit's ("Upgrade kit contains: Magnetic MK52 Heatbed [...]") mention the MK52 heatbed, and I don't recall any mention of delays on that?

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

I have a question When will the "delayed order" due to the textured sheet start shipping? or when is PR expecting the textured sheet to be available to start the shipping with the units?

I think yes specifically means you asked pr to hold your order until they have the MK52s, but I don't actually know what that whole column is about.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

Ugh. Just wrote a detailed message here, accidentally hit "shift-enter" from gmail muscle memory and it just vanished. Poof.

Anyway...

Quick info if helps anyone: My printer was an Oct 4th order, got the tracking notice before Christmas that ceased updating December 21st and the actual printer shipped three days ago under a new tracking number. It arrived yesterday and I built it last night (well into the wee hours). A few things about the build frustrated me vs. the MK2/s, but I do like the MK3 a great deal so far.

The relevant info: my printer shipped with the current December 29th firmware (same as the website as I'm writing this). The Einsy is the daughterboard version, the heatbed is the MK52 I see some chatter about in this thread and every instance of the build instructions that cited a "rev B" version of a part (some stated as mid-January 2018) was in my kit. Basically, it looks to be the absolute latest of everything despite the pre-Christmas packing notice.

I do have the noisy, clicky, rattly power supply. Even so, it's so incredibly quiet compared to the MK2/S sitting beside it (which I bought precisely 31 days before the MK3 announcement and thus missed the upgrade pricing... such is life). I don't even have it in stealth mode right now.

I've only printed the SD card boat benchy and it came out shockingly well relative to the gripes I've been reading of print quality. This is with nothing but the usual wizard calibration one time. I've not begun tuning it yet, nor have I started playing with how it behaves with OctoPrint (which I use religiously). I'm debating whether to solder in one of my Raspberry Pi Zero W units yet or just stick with outboard Raspberry Pi 3 for the time being.

Hope this is useful info to someone...

This is correct. "Yes" means you specifically asked PR to hold shipping until the PCBs are ready for shipping. "No/Yes" would be "I didn't ask them to hold my printer, but they included a PCB anyway", but only after you received your MK3 and can confirm.

Is it UPS? UPS My Choice offers a free tier that still allows scheduling packages. You may be able to ask them to hold it at a UPS center and pick it up sooner (possibly even today if it isn't too late, and you have it held for Will Call at it's current location). After selecting a pick up location they will give you a pick up date before you hit the final confirm button. Just be sure to read everything so you don't miss it. For the Nintendo Switch launch I accidentally sent it to a UPS locker that wouldn't be open for several days longer, but I was able to redirect it back to a UPS Customer Center which was open the day of the launch, so I got mine right away. All of my UPS packages head through a UPS Customer Center that's only a few minutes drive away, so I have most of my packages held there due to theft in my area, and it has always been free to have it held there for Will Call.

After making a change to the delivery the status will change to some warning status temporarily ("Delivery Exception" or something). After a few hours your package should be on its way again ("In Transit") and have a proper ETA. The fastest I've ever had it go back to "In Transit" is about 10 minutes. The slowest is about 4 or 5 hours. An hour is typical. Just depends on how quick that hub is moving.

Thank you very much for the suggestion! Unfortunately, Ups says that my choice selections are not available for this package. It will most likely get bumped up and delivered sooner. I can't imagine Ups holding onto it for 5 days when the distribution center is literally 10 minutes away from home.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

UPS tracking still says it left Germany at 6am on the 12th local time. I'm hoping it can be delivered Monday, if UPS is open on MLK day.

I hope it doesn't take the same route mine did. My printer sat in Germany saying departed for over a day and ended up in France before it flew out to the US.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

My packing and tracking notice was received Thursday 11 January.

Picked up from Prusa Friday 12 January.

It has just arrived in the USA, having been via Germany and France.

Tracking estimates delivery to me here in Sydney, Australia by end of day Tuesday 16 January.

If all goes well, a 5 day delivery timeframe is pretty good in my opinion.

Feeling excited after a wait of just over 3 mths since date of ordering. 🙂

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

adam8797 I'm still hoping you can unlock rows 129&130 when you have a chance. I can't update the conditional formatting otherwise.

Also, I've been having the issue "Can't save your changes. Copy any recent changes, then revert to an earlier revision." which prevents me from moving rows. This has only happened since Sonic locked Rows 129&130, so I can only assume it's related to the conditional formatting on those rows. I've tried now on three different PCs and four different browsers and there are some rows that just won't be moved.

I've been trying to swap 126 & 127 for about 20 minutes.. It seems I just CANNOT move Row 127 anymore. Attempting to do so locks the sheet and forces me to reload before I can continue working.

Edit: Of course after commenting on it, I was _finally_ able to swap rows 126&127. No idea why I'm having this issue but I've been moving rows around to sort them for weeks and I haven't had any issues until Sonic locked those two rows.

Edit2: Now I'm having troubles moving 162 to 165 :(.

Edit3: It's been about 10 minutes and I still can't get 162 to move to 165. I made a copy of the Spreadsheet (which gives me full permissions) and I can move all the rows around just fine :/. I'm pretty sure I'm having issues because of rows 129&130 being locked, which prevents me from changing any conditional formatting or data validation that effects those rows. When I go to move rows, it tries to split up the ranges, but it can't do that because I can't change the formatting rule that effects rows 129&130.

Hopefully we can get Adam to unlock rows 129&130 by tonight/tomorrow, otherwise I won't be able to update the highlighting in time :(. The rules which cause the date cells to highlight cannot be modified with those rows locked - except for by the person who locked them and the Spreadsheet owner.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

The shipping schedule on the Order History page has been updated again. It looks like the shipping dates have slipped a couple weeks from the dates in the last update in late December.
