Self Test X-Axis Failure
I've ran the self test several times now and it just won't pass the x-axis length test. I've confirmed that there are no fan wires etc colliding on the sides, it appears to be meeting plastic to plastic. Also the wire bundle is clearing everything, even confirmed this by running the self test with the Z towards the top, X still fails. I've also taken off the back plate to confirm no wires are punched etc and that its not too tight. Belt status reports 276 for the X axies which seems pretty darn perfect to me. Currently running the latest firmware (3.7.1) and on a factory reset.
What else can I try/check?
RE: Self Test X-Axis Failure
if you try to slew the X axis via the axis setting menu what are the min and max values it reaches
RE: Self Test X-Axis Failure
Have you done the XYZ calibration?
The X-Axis test is very simple. Move left until Stall, move right until Stall, counting the number of steps it takes.
Almost always interference or a bearing hanging up. A crash detection may also foul the test. Loosening the extruder housing screws around the bearings has helped reduce crash occurrences.
