Running the Prusa Control suite with Windows Vista
Yes, I know Vista is old and decrepit 🙄 , but I have an old but reliable laptop that I'd like to leave by the Mk3.
The problem is the (not unusual) fact that installation routines for apps now expect more modern Windows file locations, and the prg refuses to run not finding the .dll's.
(It runs Repetier Host OK).
Its a long while since I wrestled with .dll's, anyone offer some shortcut knowledge please??

Honest answer - install a lightweight linux distribution.

Have you tried using the compatibility mode in Vista? I run Windows 10 and had to use it to get the latest PrusaControl to run.
In the Programs list, right-click the program name, and then click Properties. On the Compatibility tab, click to select the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box. In the list, select an operating system, and then click OK.
