Replacement Smooth Sheet for MK3S+

Love my printer, loved the original Smooth Steel sheet it came with.  My kids did a number on it with a metal spatula or a knife or possibly golf shoes while I was out of town and now I'm shopping for a replacement but I don't see one listed in the store.  What are my options?

Been there, done that, unfortunately.

Amazon always has third-party plates.  There's currently another thread discussing just this.

I know that some have re-skinned the smooth plates, removing the damaged layer with a solvent (limonene?) and applying adhesive-backed PEI sheets.

I have one plate which has one damaged side and one mostly-good side, and I'm toying with the idea of re-skinning it when the better side shows a bit more wear and tear.

RE: Replacement Smooth Sheet for MK3S+

Wow! Looks like lotsa folks are having this problem lately. I ordered a Fysetc (Fystec?) sheet from Amazon the other day and it's supposed to be here tomorrow. I'll let everybody know how it works. I still have one good side in the meantime.

A few days ago I f'd up the sheet. Print wouldn't pop off so I put it in the freezer overnight. A 2 inch piece of the coating came off with the print.

I didn't find any on the eshop either so I checked Amazon and asked here if the Fysetc is okay which apparently it is. I sure thought it would be ok to put it in the freezer to coax the print off the sheet, but I guess it isn't.

Oh well, so it goes ...

All the same?

I've used smooth PEI steel sheets from perhaps 5 sources so far (including two from Prusa). I cannot tell any difference in use between them.
