RAMBO wimpy
So I have read in the github discussions that the RAMBO is not powerful enough computationally to take advantage of the resolution of the stepper motors, and so I was wondering if there is a DIRECT print mode possibility, allowing my super amazing laptop to do the heavy lifting and then just send print operations directly to the printer via USB. I am assuming this is not the case presenting with USB printing. This in theory would reduce the vertical line banding, making even prettier surfaces.

Checkout the Klipper project on github. It is an attempt to offload the scheduling part of the printer firmware to a host computer so that the microcontroller can be used mostly for I/O.

Some assembly required.
