Printer "crashes" into end stop after bed level calibration
Hello everyone
I have a i3 MK3 which does this (watch with sound):
after this it prints perfectly fine. It is not a slicer issue as this happens with the original Prusa test prints on the SD card as well. And the belt tension is fine as well (according the auto test in the printer).
It's like the printer is missing the corner of the printbed and then the belt jumps a couple steps. I'm not sure if this is a common issue or not, but i have just simply no idea what to search for. Help would be greatly appreciated.
cheers, Reto
Re: Printer "crashes" into end stop after bed level calibration
Hi Reto
I suspect your printer is not moving to the right freely,
when it homes, it thinks it has further to go, than it actually has space for, and you get the missed steps.
is the printer in normal mode, or stealth mode?
if your printer is in stealth mode missed step detection is not enabled
so you might get this sort of issue without missed step detection
try again in normal mode
