Got the powder coated sheet in today I do have mixed feelings of the quality of the sheet but I guess once I run it through its paces ill give my final judgement on it.

Ordered the printer in October 2017. Delivered in January 2018. Received the Powder Coated PEI Steel Sheet in early March 2019. I have not tested it yet, but I confirm that they are sending the product.

You will like it. I have had two. I sold one. $150 bucks on ebay was too much to turn away.

I now have two, one for my Mk3 kit and one for my Mk2.5 kit so they are shipping. Not letting go of them. They are mine I tell you. Mine! All Mine!!!!

Powder coated pei sheet is great, I've been printing with smooth surface, abs material aren't good with smooth and tend to warp even with brim enabled. I printed 2 identical parts on smooth and textured, the one with textured held abs down well and no sign of minor warping even with brim enabled. The print was close to 3 hours of print time with sharp 90' angle

Got my powder coated print sheet,great only took 17 months,but I do understand there were problems so no biggy really and the alternative sheet worked well. I have a mk3 and mk2.5,and I saw the extruder upgrade,so I ordered 1 for each printer. The lead time was 3 weeks when I placed my order, then it went up to 5 weeks,now it is 10 weeks, any guesses as to when I might get them? . I really think these printers are great, and I wouldnt change them but sometimes the wait for products does test my patience. Hope its worth it.

Yes, the goal wasn't reached, but we like to think that the majority of the required population failed to back it and didn't know about it 🙂 A less amazing flex plate system raised $30K easily.

All is well though; distributors like the product alot and are putting it through the paces. 😀

I finally got my powder-coated sheet last week.

And I have to say, I really really like it.

I sure hope they figure out the manufacturing problems so they can start selling them in volume. Build surfaces don't last forever, and for the time being this one is irreplaceable. I'm going to have to baby it...

No irreplaceable but definitely not affordable. Three have sole on eBay for $199 - 250 and one has sold for 150.

Well, I can finally close the book on the powder coated sheet. Ordered October 28th 2017 and received today.

They've changed the design significantly, is the printed text now on top of the PEI coating? On the one I received with my printer the print is under the PEI so it is slightly yellow, also there are squares marked out within the print area.

Hopefully they have changed the design to ease the manufacturing process as I beleive there have been problems with the PEI adhering to the areas where the the substrate has printed details.

Got the email for the voucher yesterday! Ordered 12/13/17. Bummer that you can't add additional parts to the order, I could use another hot end thermistor. Still on the fence about the MK3S conversion. My printer has been working fine, I don't know that I want to touch it!

Did anyone else have problems paying by credit card? Their merchant kept kicking me out and saying I had cancelled the authorization. I switched it to paypal and it went right through. I tried clearing cache/cookies/browser to no avail.

Yes, i’ve tried a couple cards and can basically only use PayPal to order from Prusa.

They would really benefit from a North American distribution, even if just for credit processing

I think they need to fix their supply issues first.
