Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
Prusa's shipping table for the MK3 was updated a few hours ago, and at the bottom there's now this note:
The textured powder coated sheet shipping has now commenced, shipping rows have been separated for the 2 sheets versions until the powder coated sheet catches up with the smooth double-sided PEI sheet.

Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
I'm confused. How do we order our sheet if we were some of the early adopters?

You can't. And from that table, I think you wont be able to until August, from when there will likely be a stampeded for them so don't count on getting one. Ideally they'd let us order them in a roll-out fashion based on original order date, but I very much doubt that will be the case.
Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
I hope they do give I3 customers the option to buy the coated sheets before opening it up to the general population. I did not even bother to choose the textured sheet knowing that it would likely delay my order.

Only MK3 owners have access to order MK3 parts on the shop.
Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
I am a MK3 owner and have no option to order from the shop.
Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
Any news about the current MK3 users?
I am among the first batch of orders and have been waiting for the powdered coated sheet for months....
Do they forget us ?
Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
Mk3 and Mk2.5 owner here. Been waiting for the power coated sheets and a voucher for each of them since September last year.
If indeed it is true that the sheets are now available and that they are being shipped with new orders only at this stage, I am not happy. Very unfair to those who paid in advance and waited months for their products.
Worse still is the silence. No information at all which seems to be becoming the norm lately.
Loyal customers don't like being ignored.
Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
I ordered my 2.5 upgrade kit when they were released last year.
Explicitly told Prusa that i could wait for the Powders sheet.
Time rolled on and one day i received the 2.5 kit with the smooth PEI.
Suddenly like 2 weeks ago i did get the powedered sheet from out of the blue.
I think Prusa is on it, just give it some time,

Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
I spoke to support earlier this week, and questioned them about the powder coated sheets that are apparently shipping to some users. They said these are 'samples' and that they are 'still doing testing' and that they do not have a full production batch ready. They said it would be 'up to 2 months' before they are shipping in any volume and before original adopters get their e-voucher and can order them from the web store.
Take that for what it's worth, I know support has given out misinformation in the past.

I believe it, but I'm disappointed.
I think us early adopters got screwed again. We're at the back of the queue for this (actually, we're not even allowed in the queue yet).

Yep, and if that's the case I will be really bummed. It looks like their shipping the powder coated sheets to those who selected powder coated sheets when they ordered. IMO, those orders should continue to go out with the stickered sheets or be delayed until the early backers get a chance to buy one for their printer.
Let's hope that there's communication from Jo coming out soon. It's been radio silence from Jo lately so I'm hoping for a huge update blog post.
Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
It's even worse than that really. Remember early adopters ordered printers and Mk2.5 kits with powder coated sheets which could not be supplied.
Later orders who wanted to wait for the PC sheet got shipped the smooth sheet anyway, and now are getting free PC sheets sent to them.
The early adopters will still have to pay for their sheets even if it is a reduced price.
Those who paid first and waited longest for their orders are getting treated differently to later orders.
And still no statement or explanation from Jo.
Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
Spring Steel with Smooth PEI just showed up as in stock. I quickly ordered one before they sold out! Not sure if it was a mistake again, but I hope they fill my order!

That's not the powder coated one, but yeah, still great if that's what you were after. I have tears in the sheet on both sides of my bed so I really want the powder coated version...
Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
I'd checked earlier and they still didn't show a stock status. Checked just now, and managed to put an order in. I think I chose expensive shipping in my rush, but I'm relieved to get a spare. Still no discount code for the PC version in my account, so I assume they're still a ways out.

I was about to drop a bit more for a Build-Tak plate and cover materials, so the timing was perfect.

Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
Tom posted a video with Josef and discussed the powder coated sheet availability. First orders are going out to those who elected to have their order delayed to wait for it. Next round will be to the early adopters only. After that it will be open to the general population to order.
Timing for the sheets is going to be super slow still.

Wish these would have shipped by now but the current plate is more then sufficient.

I just received my powder coated PEI sheet. I had opted to wait for the printer until it was available, but due to the delays they shipped it with the sticker...so they made good on the PEI sheet just now.
I am about 36 hours away from finishing my current print, so I have to wait until then to put it on and test it out.
Re: Powder Coated PEI Sheets: NOW SHIPPING
Hmm, at least there's a product page now:
https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/mk3-printer-parts/214-powder-coated-spring-steel-sheet.html
https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/mk3-printer-parts/215-glossy-powder-coated-spring-steel-sheet.html
$25 would be a bargain if they actually, you know, ship.
