Newly assembled Prusa Mks3+ printer completely clogged.
Absolutely clogged all the way through the nozzle and hot-end. Prusament PLA (that came with the printer was used to print a part), but an hour and half through all extrusion stopped (I noticed 20-40 minutes later). So I stopped the print to inspect what was going on. And found that there the filament load motor was shaving off tiny bits of PLA (which I suspect has completely clogged the entire system)! I'm very very disappointed in this Prusament PLA at the moment. But at the same time I'm hoping someone here will be able to help me unclog the entire system.... I don't really want to dissemble the entire extruder. Any help is much appreciated.
RE:
Can we have some pics please? This is probably not the fault of the filament but rather sounds like an incorrect assembly (i.e. poor adjustment of the extruder gears). Disassembling the extruder is not a big deal, really, as it should be sufficient to remove the extruder from the carriage without removing any cables etc. Whether or not you will need to diassemble the extruder we should be able to tell you from good pics taken from all sides.
Cheers
Chris
