Need Help !
I am new to printing and need to learn more about troubleshooting! I am currently encountering a problem where, when printing, the extrusion needs to keep up with the movements. Along with that problem, I have a problem with prints, NOT !! Sticking to the bed is not every print, and it only seems to happen due to a piece of the print not layering correctly. I washed the steel-textured bed with Dawn soap and used isopropyl alcohol afterward. I even went on to buy gloop adhesive. I have adjusted the live z, installed the latest firmware, cleaned the nozzle tip with a hard pull method, replaced the nozzle tip, and all the calibrations. > VIDEO IMG_8509
RE: Need Help !
Your first layer calibration is not close enough to the bed. You need to adjust your live z to be more negative. SO for example if your current live Z was -1.100 then you would need to increase it to -1.150 (just examples, adjust as needed).
You are aiming for a first layer that is unbroken. Like this
With a correctly dialled in Live Z and a clean, grease free print sheet of the appropriate type for the filament being printed you shouldn't have any problems with prints adhering. Often the opposite.
