MK3S Upgrade vs MK3S Kit
Hi folks,
I have a MK3. Once I upgrade it using the MK3S upgrade kit, will it be identical to the MK3S kit as shipped? Or will any minor differences remain?

It depends. Do you have the “latest” MK3?
My MK3 shipped Feb 2018. I did not upgrade my Y-axis belt tensioner or the updates to the Einsy case. So if I were to just do the MK3S upgrade there would be minor differences.
That being said, if you buy the MK3S upgrade, you CAN be identical to currently shipping kits, you may just need to print and swap a few extra parts.

The latest MK3S kits are coming with a completely different PSU so the answer to your question that the MK3S kit will be slightly different
