MK3S to MK3S+ and mmu3upg for MK4
I have been given a free mmu2 to mmu3 upgrade kit (for mk4) and thought I might upgrade my old trustworthy MK3S with mmu2 to an MK3S+ with mmu3.
I have the red IR filament sensor already and soon also the superPINDA and shorter ptfe hotend tube. The extruded have been modified for the MMU2 and thus have the chimney.
I was just about to print the extruded parts for the MK3S to MK3S+ upgrade and didn’t plan to do the Y or X modifications as I never had any problems - but should I do this you think?
Regarding the mmu2 to mmu3 upgrade can I use the mk4 kit I got for free and are there any issues ekstra parts I should be aware of ?

The Mk4 kit has a different data and power cable setup to the Mk3 setup

you will also need to print the Mk3s filament sensor Chimney

Isn’t both the chimney and the data/power cable the same as already used for the MMU2 connected to the MK3S (it looks the same)?

there are Five parts, additionally you will need
chimney,
Extruder Idler MMU3 and
Adapter Printer MMU3
these parts should be in the attached Zip File,

The chimney has different dimensions and a better adjustment setup for the MMU3
the MMU2 power and data cables attach to the MMU controller directly 
the MMU3 power and data cables connect to the MMU3 PD Board
