Mk3S sounding a little rickety.

My Mk3S has recently begun to sound like something is loosening up in the extruder head.

Prints are still looking great so the situation doesn't seem to be causing any misregistration etc. in any of the 3 axes.

Any advice from anyone is much appreciated.

If the screws are tight, it could be the bearings are starting to fail or just need lubrication or a fan is starting to fail.  You can run the fans individually.  Moving the axis should be smooth.

Clean the trapezoidal nuts and lubricate your smooth rods and bearings. Also check the pfte tube and nozzle for wear. Then check all the things that might be responsible for noise - loose screws, bearings, fans. My MK3s+ is quieter than ever and its running for 7 years now, over 20,000hrs printing.
