MK3S+: Holes are printed proportionally too large
Hello everyone,
I recently exchanged my MK3S+ for another one. Since then, I have noticed a phenomenon for which I cannot find a real solution.
The printer has a Revo hot end and is fully calibrated. I am working with the Orca slicer.
The outer dimensions in the X-Y plane generally look acceptable, normally <0.15 mm. However, it generally prints holes in XY that are so large that the functionality of the component may be impaired under certain circumstances. Of course, I could work with X-Y hole compensation here, but the holes deviate from their target diameter by a certain percentage. A 30 mm hole has a diameter of 30.5 mm, a 20 mm hole is 20.25 mm, and so on. Each hole is approximately 1.5% larger than the target diameter, which is why a fixed compensation value cannot solve my problem.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
Thanks!
