after loads of hassle and lies from prusa in dispatching my printer it is now broken after only 3 prints, is this a common thing to expect ? i ordered the spare parts and 3 days later still sitting without being dispatched, is that normal ? spoke to prusa chat who were not very helpful and said they ship when they ship which i dont think is very nice after paying that much for a printer and a week later having to spend on spare parts. because of the non support i have decided to send the printer back for a refund because its no good to me if its going to keep breaking and having to wait ages for parts, is it right that they should charge shipping for faulty goods supplied ? and they will take the costs of the broken pieces off also ?
i asked to speak to a manager but was refused, is that the way they treat their customers usually ?
I cant believe this. According to my experience, the support it top notch. I had one defective ball bearing from start, PRUSA send me a new one the next day.
Sadly we can´t check if you truly purchased the original PRUSA MK3S! Please show me the receipe and some pictures.

To be honest it makes no difference if you believe me or not I know it’s the truth and I am not obliged to prove to anyone and show anyone my receipt ?
and I’ve also received the replacement parts yesterday from prusa so how can I have received my parts when you cannot order the parts without owning a prusa printer ? And even with the new parts fitted it’s still not working so another waste of money

Buying a kit you already agreed beforehand you took the risk it does not need to work as expected. For me it took me 3 days to build it and majority of it was a carefull reading of all warnings.
When you heat the PLA to 260 you can get opposite rsult - instead of melting you can burn the remains to solid pieces ,which will make a very nice obstacle.
Did you try to clean up your nozzle according to instructions?

why have you payed for parts? had you destroyed the printer and now blame prusa for this?

Best for all would be for @keithcowell to get his refund and go away. He clearly has no intention of trying to fix the problems, and is just here to vent. I'm sure Prusa will manage to survive, even with a (omg) YouTube video full of complaints. Check out Design Prototype Test for a guy who's been complaining for much longer.

I think people should learnt to read before commenting that’s what I think before jumping in and getting it all wrong as usual , comes to something when innocent people get slated for getting ripped off , I wouldn’t have another prusa anyways so I don’t even know why people are still commenting on this stupid post

End of story implies the end. As in, you're not going to be repeatedly posting the same thing over and over and over again. There's really nothing anybody here can do to change your mind, you are seeking a refund. Good luck with that.

So let us come to rational talk. Do you have still the printer at home? The forum here is great helper for many newcomers. Prusa already sold more than 150000 printers so comparing to the number of complaining people is great.
So if you want people here to help you start please with
facts. We know you have filament jams - is this issue stil persistent?

I appreciate your reply to offer help , I do still have the printer and I’ve fitted the new parts and it’s still jammed , but I really can’t be bothered with all the people attacking me saying it’s all my fault etc when the original post was about customer support not the fact that I had broke the printer part , people just do not read anything anymore and chirp in with the wrong facts which really just gets you annoyed , so I think the best thing to do is to return the printer and get a different make ready built , prusa already offered me a refund and I decided to give it another go with new Parts but it’s no better so now I really do give up but thank you for trying to be understandable and offer help

Why are you on it now? If you're getting your refund, congratulations. Be happy and move on. If your intent is to somehow stir up a rebellion in the ranks of Prusa users, you're not going to get far. Many of us have shopped around and wound up here. Neither Prusa the product or the company are perfect. They are, however, reliable devices with good support. If you are having problems you want help with, I and others are more than willing to help where we can. If you'll recall, I tried to help you out a couple of weeks back. However, if you're just here to insult us, it would be far more productive to just move along.
