Ordered one on 03/23. It aparently registerd as payed (with invoice and everything) but for some reason does not appear in the "order history" tab. ❓

Also wrote them an email offering professional help with their powder coating problem. It's of course a bit self serving, I can be a bit impatient sometimes 😉

Anyone from Prusa Research team can tell me what happening with shipping(kit version)? Schedule table of shipping isn't update - another shipping delay ?
In my opinion the Prusa I3 MK3 is good device but time of delivering is nightmare (delay behind delay is frustrating). I will happy if I recive my order but it is my last time when I buyed something on Prusa shop.

1) Delay behind delay.
2) Out-of-date schedule table of shipping.
3) Another month delay in my order.

For me is mockery of customer.

The whole thing is a bit of a mess . . when you click on the preassembled MK3 'buy' button (Buy the printer for $999 (MK3)) it says:

the MK3 is now available for preorder with estimated delivery in March . . . . (it is now April the 14th!!!)

On the same page it says "PREORDER! New orders to be shipped in early May 2018! Refer to the shipping table "

So . . . so far we have March and early May . . . and when I ordered last week (week 14) the shipping table told me shipping would from April 23rd . . . so we have March, early May and April 23rd are all quoted as shipping dates.

I would rather wait and get as close to the latest updates, as the MK3 seems to still be iterating quickly. A new MMU as compensation might be nice. I did go ahead and get an Ultimaker 3 in the meantime just to get to work.

I would not want to be Semsem these days for sure, 'cause there's nothing he can do about it I'd bet. Seems Josef is feeling those growing pains for sure, and these times are a crucial test for businesses that grow out of a garage. He's got a potential Apple or Amazon on his hands, I'd be looking real hard the the 'Waz and Jobs and see what side I wanted to be on..

As it is, the UM turns out gorgeous prints, albeit slowly, and you don't seem to be able to use the entire buildplate via Cura. Can't wait to see what the MK3 will do next to it..

Just got my shipping notification from UPS. Ordered a MK2.5 and MK3 upgrade on 10/27/2017 order # 2017270583.

Order on the website still shows on backorder.

Edit - also two rolls of Prusa Orange PET

I wonder if they are intentionally not updating it because they have fallen so far behind. It only puts additional strain on Customer Service when people open up chats because they are wondering why it's not updated or when it will get shipped. Keeping it updated, while pissing people off because they have to wait, will give updated shipping statuses.

I can only assume they are on time at this point because they haven't updated the tables in over a week. That means I'll have mine shipped sometime next week...or not. It's impossible to tell because they aren't being very transparent on this process.

I can only assume they are on time at this point because they haven't updated the tables in over a week.

If you look into the community sheet, it seems like they're behind schedule again. Since yesterday they should be sending the stuff from week 8, but it looks like they're mostly sending stuff from the week before and way older orders.

I understand that it must be really annoying to get asked the same question 1000 times a day, but to me it seems like the support doesn't give a **** and just answering anything to keep the people away. E.g. telling them that their order is on time, based on the outdated shipping table.
It would be okay for me, if they tell, that they don't have any new information (and are also waiting for an update from production, which one support guy told me) - but it makes me angry, if they are ignoring my questions or tell my outdated information.

The vast majority of the support people I have spoken have been understanding and very courteous, I did get a zero f's response form the Semsem fella, honestly he won't last long in a customer facing role I suspect.

Also agreed that while delays happen, especially so while ramping up production demand in a company which maybe hasn't had the opportunity to iron out the inevitable kinks that come up in a high demand logistics chain.

The only thing that makes these situations more palatable is transparency and good support.

Lessons to be learnt 🙂

I'd love to buy Joseph some brilliant books on the topics, is an area I do loads of reading and work

I agree,
Keeping the shipping table updated is paramount. Helps forestall questions. They can point people to the table first, so they can cut down on the number of repeat questions.

Glad they are getting that kind of order volume though, and I honestly do t mi d the wait, and understand delays. I'm a project manager and software engineer by day, there are goi g to be issues that come up, but a lot of the time you have some idea. Don't set false expectations with me and I will be happy 😀

It's after the dates have passed, stating there "was" a delay, instead of saying hey, there "will be a delay" is a difference, at least to me.

Still happily awaiting my printer!

I just saw elsewhere in the forums that someone from week 4 just got their shipping notification today. I suppose this means that they are behind and by quite a bit (1 week maybe...?).

All of this could be avoided if they actually communicated with us instead of ignoring us.
