Agreed, the (bought) parts and filament should be easier to get out of the door. However, I assume (without any knowledge of the situation at prusa nor capabilities in second sight) the following - for the upgrades they would like to add the powder coated spring steel sheet and not the PEI version they are shipping atm with printers (which I appreciate). The other thing is maybe the thought that everyone who ordered the upgrade has a working printer already. Still, I'd also love to get my upgrade - but hey, I got the Mk2 in January within two days (amazingly fast!), so I'll be using that one and still check from time to time until the history says shipped 😉

On a fun note, the boxes are now actually MK3 boxes, not just a MK3 sticker!

I guess your Mk3 arrived, mayb I ask you when you ordered? Just to get a reference when I can expect mine. According to the schedule mine should start shipment today...but...I don’t know if thats a bit optimistic 😉

wendy.v, mine showed the estimated to start shipping date as Feb 19, I ordered in the 50th week. Just got a notification of label creation this morning. From what I read, it will still be several days before it actually ships but it's getting closer! lol

I ordered mine on November 21 and received it on February 12. If you want a better picture of when you can expect yours definitely check the spreadsheet that the forum users have been contributing to.

Thanks for the info... means, they are approximately around 1 week behind their projection (which is still within their planning). Gives me hope that I will receive my printer soon as well 🙂

Looks like about fifty ahead of me still (on the sheet, so probably ten times that) , I ordered 12/28.
I asked today if I'd get the powdered bed and heard I should receive a newsletter tomorrow with material choices. Getting close! Wonder what the time between choice and shipping is!

I just contacted Prusa team yesterday, as I found out the texture sheet would be delayed further a possible month, So had removed the hold on the mk3, one question which I forgot to ask, has the texture sheet discount been handed out yet? or will it be issued when the sheet is available?

As by last update instead of the discount everyone will just receive a powder coated sheet for free automatically. Quoting Josef:

Your printer will be shipped with smooth PEI sheets and you will automatically be sent the powder coated one completely free when they are available. I requested the powder coated bed on Friday, and I didn't see any update in my email (yet). I called them to cancel the delay of the order of the texture bed plate last Thursday. my order was made on Oct 13/ 2017, and had a status update on Friday morning that the printer was "Order being packed" It arrived this afternoon at lunch, the statue still says "Order being packed". they are quick and I'm halfway of building the printer.

Don't feel bad...my date is 12/25 (my Christmas present).....looks like Week 1 is starting to ship but not seeing any movement hardly for Week 52? 😮

ordered on 1.1.2018 black kit version
well in the order history its still "order being packed" clicked on details and tadaaa theres a tracking number, i did not get an email with tracking number or so only one that said it will be packed

Ordered the black kit 12/23/17, I messaged them today and they said it will ship before the end of the week.
I am in Canada.
