Making music with MK3
Ok guys, this is a new one. I noticed that certain movements (e.g. circles) produce some noises. After a long wait I got my marble PLA and wanted to give it a quick test so I decided to print this simple vase ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:18672 ). When I came back to check on the print I started to hear "music". Enjoy the music being produced by my print/printer:
If you have other "songs" please share. Maybe we can release an album :ugeek:

Stepper Frequency has been a thing for a Loooooong time. You are not the first person to notice this.
Here is Jingle Bells played using Floppy Servo motors.
Re: Making music with MK3
LOL. Had no idea you could really make music with these things. Thanks for sharing that video. 😆
Re: Making music with MK3
And MK2S is better for this than MK3 : le "chant du cygne" (swan song).
Re: Making music with MK3
You can use the mk3 buzzer to play sounds, eg: Mario.
Thats possible with gcode
RE: Making music with MK3
Marble PLA can also slightly change the sound profile since it’s a bit heavier and more textured than standard PLA, which means the extruder might work just a bit differently. As long as the print quality looks clean, there’s no grinding, and the printer isn’t skipping steps, the noises are usually nothing to worry about.
RE: Making music with MK3
It's interesting that it produces such a sound; can I listen to the music on Spotify?
RE: Making music with MK3
Prusa music is not on Spotify.
